Positive: We were there for my daughter’s wedding, so this cottage was convenient to where wedding was located.
Negative: The tv didn’t work no matter how much time I took to reboot it, even with instructions. Didn’t have time for that. Washing machine was broke and would have been ok, but best if you tell those staying it was broken before or at time of booking. Also I made a request to check in early by only 30 minutes. Wanted my elderly mother the ability to put her diabetic insulin up and get ready for dress rehearsal. It wasn’t like we asked for a lot, considering.
Summary: Love the Banner Elk area but may choose elsewhere to stay when returning,unless there’s some changes made.
